Apollo Tyres Ltd has reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 7,968 crores for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, a 17% increase from Rs 6,831 crores in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. The unaudited results were approved by the company’s board and presented on a consolidated basis.
The results cover the second quarter from July to September and the first half from April to September of the 2026–27 financial year. For the first half, revenue reached Rs 15,366 crores, up 15% from Rs 13,392 crores a year earlier. Apollo said its Indian operations maintained revenue growth in the second quarter, which it linked to the effectiveness of its growth initiatives.
Second-quarter and first-half profit
Operating profit for the September quarter was Rs 855 crores. Net profit rose 13% to Rs 292 crores from Rs 258 crores in the comparable period. The quarterly result includes an estimated pre-tax restructuring charge of Rs 26 crores, which the company disclosed as an exceptional item.
For the six-month period, operating profit was Rs 1,723 crores. Net profit was Rs 641 crores, compared with Rs 271 crores in the first half of the previous fiscal year; the half-year net profit was more than double the prior-year figure. The same estimated pre-tax restructuring cost of Rs 26 crores was included as an exceptional item.
Management view on demand and costs
Chairman Onkar Kanwar said growth across categories in India had been supported by the company’s continuing rural expansion and its strategic association with cricket. He added that new product launches in India’s commercial vehicle segment had strengthened performance in the past quarter.
Kanwar also said geopolitical tensions in West Asia remained a headwind. According to the chairman, these tensions have led to elevated input costs and disruptions in the supply chain. The statement identifies those conditions as pressures on the business without quantifying their financial effect.
CFO appointment
The board also approved the appointment of Ravi Kumar Shingari as chief financial officer, effective November 4, 2026. Shingari joined Apollo Tyres in 2018 as group head, finance, and has worked across budgeting, accounts and investor relations. More recently, he was given additional responsibility for legal matters.
Before joining Apollo, Shingari spent more than 16 years at KPMG, where his final assignment was partner, tax and regulatory. He is a chartered accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce, B.Com (H), from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University. In the CFO role, he will report directly to Neeraj Kanwar, vice chairman and managing director.
