Landscape Forms has relaunched SHUFFLE, a modular smart-pole system that combines Wi-Fi, cameras, sensors, two-way communications and EV-charging capabilities in one vertical structure. The updated platform is intended to help municipalities, campuses and commercial developers add site functionality without adding visual clutter or additional cost.

The system is designed to be easy to activate and install, with modular components that can be customized and adapted as site needs change. Landscape Forms said the integrated design brings modern aesthetics and efficiencies to busy, multi-use environments. It also introduced a new build feature on its website that allows clients to specify preferred camera and technology brands and select from a range of options within each category.

Responding to crowded public spaces

Landscape Forms said public spaces are adding single-purpose pole sensors, cameras, lighting and connectivity infrastructure in places where space is at a premium. As customer expectations rise, the company said demand has grown for thoughtfully designed, fully integrated, multi-function infrastructure that expands site functionality without contributing to visual clutter or additional cost. SHUFFLE is positioned to meet that demand by consolidating advanced capabilities into one adaptable system.

Shannon Lee, business development manager for smart poles at Schréder, said the system was designed to fit the needs of busy public spaces with product and feature sets that can be updated as site requirements evolve. According to Lee, safety and connectivity are integrated into outdoor spaces without dominating them, making the system accessible and user friendly.

New plug-and-play options

The relaunch adds options intended for plug-and-play simplicity, including a 360-degree area light, a decorative light ring, a 180-degree area light, quad-view and 180-degree cameras, motion sensors, and loudspeaker and intercom modules. The modular design allows SHUFFLE to be configured for specialized environments as well as general public spaces, providing an added measure of security and convenience in places where people gather to work, travel, study and recreate.

Landscape Forms lists university and business campuses, airports and commuting hubs, shopping malls and tourist areas, concert halls, city parks, sports venues and hospitals among the settings where the system can be used. The company said its multi-use adaptability and communication features make it a smart and convenient choice for site managers handling a range of requirements.

Design and technology together

Jordan Agustin, president of lighting at Landscape Forms, said SHUFFLE represents technology and design working together to make outdoor spaces safer and smarter without compromising aesthetics. He said the new features integrated into the streamlined design enhance the beauty and functionality of outdoor spaces while advancing the company’s mission of connecting people to the outdoors and to each other.
